This guide explains how to connect your Amazon SES email account to TrulyInbox using SMTP. Once connected, TrulyInbox can send warm-up emails through Amazon SES to help build and maintain your sender reputation.
Note: Amazon SES supports SMTP only. It does not provide native IMAP access for receiving emails. To receive emails, you must use a separate mailbox or service that supports IMAP.
Step 1: Add an Email Account in TrulyInbox
Log in to your TrulyInbox account. From the dashboard, click the Add Email Account button.

Next, choose "SMTP/IMAP Account" and click "Connect."

For this, go with "Single Account."

In the email address provider, select "Google/G Suite" and pop in your email address and password. If you want to add an Alias email account, turn on "Use different username"
Enter the following SMTP/IMAP details for Amazon SES:
SMTP Server: email-smtp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com
SMTP Port: 587 (or 465 for SSL/TLS)
IMAP Server: Your custom IMAP server (since SES primarily supports SMTP)
IMAP Port: Your custom IMAP port

Validate all the details you have entered. Once you're all set, click "Connect" and then "Save."
You’ve just configured Amazon SES with Trulyinbox. Now, you’re ready to send and receive Warmup emails.
Your Amazon SES account is now connected to TrulyInbox for sending warm-up emails. Warm-up sending will begin based on your configured settings, while incoming emails depend on the IMAP-enabled mailbox you’ve set up separately.
If you encounter any issues, double-check your SES credentials and region, or contact the support team for assistance.
