How Outreach Readiness is Calculated?

Your Outreach Readiness score helps you understand how healthy your email account is for sending outreach. This score is based on multiple warm-up signals, your email authentication setup, and recent deliverability performance.

Outreach Readiness appears inside your TrulyInbox warm-up dashboard as one of three statuses:

• Ready for Outreach

• Warming Up

• Needs Recovery

What Factors Influence Outreach Readiness?

Your Outreach Readiness score is made up of three core components:

1. Deliverability Score (60% weight)

2. Setup Score (40% weight)

3. Bounce Penalty (deducted from the final score)

Each of these values contributes to your final warm-up score, which automatically updates based on your last 15 days of warm-up performance.

1. Deliverability Score (60% Weight)

This portion of the score is calculated from your last 15 days of warm-up results, but with time-based weighting, so recent behavior matters most.

Only active warm-up days count

A day is included only if at least 2 warm-up emails were sent.

Based on inbox vs. spam placement

Higher inbox placement → higher score
More spam placement → lower score

Time-Based Weighting:

The 15-day window is split into three segments:

This means your most recent warm-up performance has the biggest impact on your Outreach Readiness.

2. Setup Score (40% Weight)

The setup score evaluates the technical health of your domain and mailbox.

This includes:

• SPF correctly configured

• DKIM aligned

• DMARC policy valid

• General domain technical health signals

A properly configured domain will naturally achieve a higher Setup Score, improving Outreach Readiness.

3. Bounce Penalty

Your final score is reduced by the average bounce rate of your last 3 days.

This penalty helps prevent outreach issues caused by:

• Hard bounces

• Soft bounces

• Invalid addresses

• Domain/server response issues

More bounces = lower final score.

Final Score Formula

Here is how the final Warm-up Score is calculated:

Warmup Score = (Deliverability × 60%) + (Setup Score × 40%) − Avg Bounce Rate (last 3 days)

Your Outreach Readiness status is then assigned based on the score range.

Outreach Readiness Status Breakdown

Ready for Outreach (Score: 90 – 100)

Your domain is healthy, your recent warm-up performance is strong, and your bounce rate is extremely low.

You can safely begin sending outreach campaigns.

Warming Up (Score: 50 – 89)

Your account is improving but not fully ready.
Keep warm-up running daily to strengthen deliverability.

Needs Recovery (Score: 0 – 49)

Your sender reputation needs rebuilding.
This often occurs when:

• Warm-up was paused

• Multiple spam placements occurred

• Authentication setup issues exist

• Bounce rate increased

Continue warming up until your score recovers.
